Paint, Color and Design Fabric

Monday January 22

10:00 – 2:00

$30.00 + supplies used

Have a great time playing with paints and crayons to make one of a kind fabric. We will explore various surface design techniques to create color and texture on fabric. You will use fabric paints and fabric crayons for color and to produce texture with objects such as erasers, leaves, shoes, buttons, etc. Some of the techniques will include the following: painting, monoprinting, stamping, leaf printing, rubbing, and stenciling. You will experiment with these techniques on fabric in class and have samples to take home. Use these procedures at home to customize your own fabric for quilt making, home decorating and garment construction.
